Kemtron's form in place automated gasket dispensing system was installed to mainly accomodate hand held instrument manufacturers who require small section but complex gaskets. Kemtron has a large range of compounds suitable for many climatic conditions. Wide temperature range, chemical resistance & fire retardent grades are but a few. This low cost process consists of a fully programmable 3-axis robot that allows a bead of silicone or urethane to be precisely dispensed on to small areas or into grooves directly on customer's hardware. The system and compunds are suitable for dispensing on to metal or plastic hardware. Low tooling and programming costs allow the use of this technology to be applied to development, pre-production and production runs. It is ideally suited for small diameter sections in high volume, where handling of traditional gaskets may be difficult and expensive. Gasket sections typically range from 0.7mm to 2.5mm diameter.
