Flat sheets of oriented wires embedded in Silicone rubber


Flat silicone gasket material, solid or sponge, embedded with wires oriented perpendicular to its surface. The material has a wire density of 900 per square 25.4 mm. which gives an excellent EMI screen over a wide spectrum of frequencies. It has the additional property of providing full environmental protection (Up to IP65 is possible)
The material, which is not suitable for frequent opening, is supplied in sheets, two wire types are also available, Monel or Aluminium, to allow the best galvanic compatability against corrosion.
Custom gasket shapes can be easily made using a sharp bladed knife for prototyping.
Excellent service temperature range -60°C to +200°C
